So if your profile hasn't received any attention recently when it comes down visibility-wise (or even before!), don't worry; I have some tips that might help improve things fast.
With these 3 tips, you will have the attention of Recruiters in no time at all. They're really simple and can be applied to any situation that requires marketing yourself!
Tip 1: Optimize your profile for search engines (SEO)
Don't just leave your profile blank! Make sure that you optimize it for users and search engines. Fill in all sections of the page, including the headline, summary, areas of specialization/experience, etc. When someone searches on Google or Bing, they will find YOU at the topmost position!
Tip 2: It's important to optimize your profile with keywords.
This means that you should include relevant, appropriate words in various sections of the account - these will be what recruiters use when looking for candidates!
Tip 3: Remember to build credibility with recommendations.
The last tip I have is to build credibility with recommendations. This means that you need to ask your existing contacts for a recommendation, especially if they are people in the same industry as yourself or know someone who can help out!
With these 3 tips, you should now have a profile that is optimized for search engines as well as Employers and Recruiters.
